Framing begins

Some of the exterior basement level framing is complete.

When she saw it, Lindsey informed us that "our room needs a roof and a door."

Lindsey's response to the construction

Hopefully, I'll get some new pictures up later today, but in the meantime, here are a few Lindsey quotes on the project:

After the initial demolition was done and everyone gone for the day: "Where did the knock down mans go?"

Looking out into the backyard the other day: "Mommy, can we build some stairs tonight?" When I answered no, she said, "Maybe tomorrow then."

Yesterday, while they were removing some of the concrete slab with a sledgehammer: "Are they knocking our house down?"
