Yesterday, it was unseasonably warm and sunny, so we went to the beach. Lindsey got to throw rocks in the 'sea' and Elise got to pretend to be a purple bear.
Afterwards, we went to La Carta de Oaxaca, and actually got to eat there, since we waited in line for the 5 o'clock opening. A bride and groom stopped by for a picture, since that was where they had their first date. It was a fun moment.
We made cookies the other day, using

this one for icing. Lindsey got to paint some and I piped (is that the right word?) some. They were delicious. Happy Valentine's Day!
