Today Chris took Lindsey skiing for the first time. This day was highly anticipated. We had a lot invested in her enjoying something we love doing, although were prepared to drag her up again and again until she did like it as my parents did. It took two years for me, and lots of screaming and crying were apparently involved. Lindsey did have fun, and especially enjoyed making snow angels, going fast, and wearing her purple Dora helmet. There were a couple of meltdowns due to 1) purportedly promised purple skis and 2) wanting to ski with her daddy after lunch. Otherwise, the day was a success and we look forward to lots of future mountain fun.
Her next run, perhaps. 
Here she is ready to go this morning. She also wore her helmet and goggles while riding her bike to the park, and while watching TV the other day.
